I love the advertised picture and wonder if anyone knows it’s true name or how to get “my plant” to look like that, lolol

i have it in a south west, filtered sun window so it gets plenty of light....

It is not the same plant so getting yours to look like the one in the photo is just not gonna happen :-) Yours could very well be Plectranthus neochilus but it is not the variegated cultivar known as 'Mike's Fuzzy Wuzzy'.

It also looks very etiolated or stretched out seeking more light. Light through a window is not at all the same as real sunlight and is greatly reduced in intensity.

Yes youre right... I tried to tell the seller it was different, lol. Alas, I will give the plant care and try to keep it healthy anyway.... it’s not like it was a big expense, a few dollars at most. Thanks for your response

Agree with rina. I do think I see variegation on leaves at the bottom/bottom left in the photo. Also agree that it needs a lot more light.

Oh yes there’s definitely variegation on the leaves but you cant really see it in the pics.

it just arrived from CA all the way to MA, so I was thinking maybe it lost some colors during travel?

i have a South facing solarium with floor to ceiling windows that I was slowly going to introduce it to. I felt the need to let it chill out first and get used to it’s new soil....

Maybe if I pinch it it will get bushy? Or just let the sun do it’s job for awhile?...

Growing in low light can make it lose color. If it were mine, I would probably slowly acclimate it to more sun and let the sun do it's job for a while, but I haven't grown this plant, so take what I say with a grain of salt :-)
