I am at the point where I need to finalize/perfect the electrical/lighting plans for our home. I know 'roughly' what I need as far as lights and fans, but want a professional to help with specific placement and product recommendations. I look at recessed lighting options and my eyes glaze over. When I look up "lighting designers" in my area I mostly get landscape lighting, or high end lighting stores.

I am using some fixtures and fans salvaged from our old home and my brother's flooded and now remodeled home. The budget for the rest will be lower end but quality brands - splurging for a big fan for the great room and another for the loft, Maybe some fun pendants for the island.

How do I find someone to hire? Any ideas roughly what to expect the bill to be? 2300 sqft house, 4 bedroom. We have commercial accounts with build.com and another local supplier...so I likely won't be purchasing from a local retail store.
