In need of nightstand suggestions

I found a bed I like for a small master bedroom. I am not really sure what kind of nightstand to pair with it. I am looking for an elegant design and plan to use white bedding with an accent quilt. Since the bedroom is very small I haven’t deciding if I will get a dresser and/or chair for the room.

This room is in a rental with white walls and tan carpet so I want the bed to be a statement. I’m not 100% tied to the bed but I like it better than others I have seen. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

How much room do you have on each side? Can you add some pictures of the room?

I have pictures from the model which is the same dimensions. They don’t show every angle but they are all I have for now. I believe the model has a queen bed and I plan to get a king.

Mirrored night tables would be my choice with that bed.

I think that might be too much bed for a small bedroom, especially if you're considering a king size. The foot board will take up actual space and the dark color will take up visual space. I think I'd forgo the foot board altogether and maybe reconsider the color.

The turquoise in the model home is quite statement making without being heavy.

I agree the footboard would take unnecessary room. You could easily find a headboard that is similar and just buy the bedframe to attach it to. It would less expensive then the bed too! The mirror end tables would be pretty and give illusion of space. IMHO the lights are a bit too much with the tables

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll go back to the drawing board on the bed and look for a headboard. I was looking for a lighter gray but I just haven’t found one in person. I’m afraid to order online since I’m not good at picking these kinds of things out. I agree the one in the pictures I posted is beautiful but I’ve never seen something like this in person.

I love the mirrored nightstands! Does anyone have any suggestions where to find them? The ones in the picture are beautiful.

Maybe something more like one of these would be better. Is Wayfair decent quality?

Or here is a bed but without the footboard.

Personally I like the Corbett the best. I think white linens will pop more. I do like the Turin too. How much room on either side do you have for nightstands?

Thanks Molly! I agree those are my favorites. I will have measurements on Wednesday after selecting the actual unit. I know I will have plenty of space for at least one maybe two nightstands. I’m still searching for a similar piece to the one posted above.

Look at Winners or Home Sense for the night stand sometimes they have them .

Looks similar to one from Pottery Barn. Wayfair and Overstock have bunch too.

Those items are beautiful. Do you know where I can find them? I really struggle finding items similar to ones posted as I have not shopped for furniture in years. I love the mirrored options but I haven't quite convinced my husband. This would be a great option that I think he would like.

By accent quilt, I just meant that I will likely have a quilt folded at the end of the bed. I am always freezing when I husband it hot. I haven't decided on a quilt but it will likely be a color pulled from the decorations in the room or neutral possibly even white if it seems best.

Here are some inspiration pictures, just look at the nightstands. What style does your husband like?

Tables are an option if you find the right height and don’t need a lot of storage. The don’t even have to match.

These look high to me, but nesting tables can give you more surface space when needed.

    Saw this at Restoration Hardware.

Thanks Molly! My husband usually likes traditional style but I'm ready for something new. I like almost all the tables that have been posted. I think I just need to get out this weekend with pictures that have been posted. I was actually just looking at that quilt on the RH website. I love it.

Hey Tanya, when I put my cursor over a picture of an item (like the table or lamp that I posted) and right click then a short list of options comes up. One is "search Google for image" then you click on that and it finds usually lots of web sites that have that same picture so you can get more info about price and size. This works better if it's just a single item. A picture of a bedroom just gets you more pics of lots of different bedrooms

To answer your question about whether Wayfair is quality....I have a Wayfair headboard. It was very inexpensive - it looks great 2 years later. I wouldn't say it is super high quality, but for me, it didn't need to be. It looks much more expensive than it was, and has held up great.

For a small bedroom that bed looks pretty gigantic. It might be too dominating. In a small room a big piece makes it hard to add other items like you mentioned a chair or dresser. Then the dresser might have to be smaller than usual and that would add up to a lopsided, look strange.

Maybe look for stores that specialize in apartment sized furniture. West Elm and Target (yes!)

To me an elegant bed is more about the bedding than the bed itself. What do you think of this?

I am so thankful for all the comments. You definitely saved me from a big mistake! I am definitely going to choose one of the smaller headboards so it doesn’t over power the room. Once I have exact measurements of the room then I plan to narrow down nightstands. At that point I’ll let my husband weigh in since he doesn’t like too many options. I know he will like some of the options here.
