I like your table. Those chairs seem too large . Will just two chairs be used? I would prefer a rug to add some color. Perhaps use chairs that are the same color as the tabletop?

Perhaps paint the table base (similar color to wall or couch?). Find smaller chairs that are close to table top in color.

Maybe wicker? I got some outdoor ones one year and they’ve held up great. I put chair cushions in them and they’re really comfortable. You could match valences or curtains to the cushions ( I used black/white buffalo check) and hang a coordinating quilt or blanket on the back of the couch.
