We originally had a 12 month construction to perm loan. After a year I had to apply for an extension. received a 3 month extension no problem. Now that the extension expires in a week I have 3 more weeks to go. Just like with any new construction there a delays. The First 6 month I was waiting o. an architect to finalize the drawings. That the biggest delay. at this point the only delay I have is sod and tile in showers. All those are in progress and materials are paid for out of pocket rather than banks draw. Now the bank says if I do not finish in time they will "take over" to finish the job a d then convert it into a 30 year perm. question is: what are my options to gain another 2 weeks?
