Here's what I would suggest. When you think you have your color(s) narrowed down, buy a small sample jar. Then, go the dollar store and buy a poster board/paint brush. Paint the poster and move it around the room at different times of day. If you can, put it next to white trim because your current wall color can also effect how it looks.

I have Revere Pewter in two bedrooms- in one it looks fresh (sunnier room) and in the other it looks muddy (darker room).

Revere pewter is actually a Benjamin Moore color but Sherwin-Williams can also make it. I painted my entire house in Revere pewter and absolutely love it . It is a wonderful background color and it appears very neutral. it's so great both of my children put it in their homes too!

Of the colors you've shown, I like the Revere Pewter the best with your carpet.

I am not getting the ottoman. Also, the chairs are a teal/beige pattern which is also why I wanted to make sure I used a greige type of color. Junco, yes the third color from the right is Anew Gray. I have used it in other rooms as well and we like it. My husband wanted me to try some other samples and currently he likes the Revere Pewter the best. I am going to take some pics of the room and paint board at night too.

I think it depends how much light that room gets. I have Revere Pewter in my entire open concept first floor, and it looks a lot different in my North facing rooms (darker, muddier, greenish), than my South facing rooms.

Another color to try is BM Thunder. Very close to Revere Pewter, but a tad bit darker, & more neutral.

The room is west facing and gets decent light as long as the blinds are up.

While it's hard to say on a computer screen, I agree with "junco" and liked Anew Gray best. It seems to work well with the dark trim and the carpet. IMO Revere Pewter looks too light and washed out against the dark trim. Other than that, I think you picked beautiful colors to choose from, and any of those should work in your space. Keep us updated!

I am now debating between anew great and Revere pewter. I will have teal accents in the room as well. which of these in the pics do you think looks best with the carpet and woodwork?
