In the northeast, we're in the midst of a brutal heat wave and after a weekend cool down, forecasts are right back into the 90s next week. I sprayed RoundUp on a section of my lawn I plan on reseeding and have been lowering my cutting height on another section I will overseed and was planning on putting down the seed (TTTF/rye/KBG mix) this weekend. However, with the heat wave potentially back in effect next week, should I hold off until after the temps drop a bit? As of now, long term forecasts for September/October are for above average temps, so I think I'd still have plenty of time for everything to germinate and establish before our first freeze.
