please tell me that the bell can be easily removed for a good cleaning???

yes I ordered 2 to go over my dining room table. They are Beautiful! They don't come apart as I would have perfered, but the bell is large, so it shouldn't be to hard the get inside to clean. I wish someone would have asked a woman to design the easy clean feature.

Looks like a smaller island can an island with a breakfast bar take too large bells?

My bells are 13.5 inches across the bottom and 19.25 inches from where the bell attaches to the cord. I have 2 bells above my dining room table, and they look wonderful. I only wish they made them where I could remove the glass bell for cleaning. Windex and a clean soft cloth do a good job. I use vintage light bulbs and they put out enough soft light to set the mood for a dinner nice party. They are a statement light and people love them when they see mine.
