Ah, what I call a snow storm kitchen. The present equivalent of the avocado green kitchen of the 70's. Let me guess. Shaker cabinets? All you can do it what mramsey suggested, paint and accessories.

Hanging Sheers

I have recently added some sheers to my family room windows for more privacy and sun control my question is can they hang on the same rod as the panels or should I ad another rod for the sheers? I have been to Bed Bath beyond and they do have add on rods for sheers but my husband says that the it looks ok the way it is.

Do you have photos? My first thought (and simplest and least expensive solution) is painting the walls and adding some colourful accents (a decorative bowl, etc).
