Very pretty! You might have room for a ghost chair in that corner. As you can see, they are very unobtrusive (they come without arms too). I have one outside my shower that I use regularly -- it does come in quite handy.

In the water closet, I would hang a piece of artwork on the wall to the left as you're facing the toilet, and nothing more.

You must be so happy with the lighting, how much the accent can lights change the feel of a space. I just added four to my bathroom and it is the most valuable part

How would that fit over the OP's tub? Where??

Beautiful! Love the shower with the seat, love the tile above the bath, and the style of bath. The whole vibe is bright and airy, luxe and relaxing. Re: place for towels, it's nice to have a seat next to the bath, so a low stool that you could leave folded towels seems like a good idea.

Beautiful! A pretty little stool would go perfectly next to your tub. I found this little mirrored one at Pier One (plan on changing the fabric). Love the recessed cabinet over your toilet.

That’s why they have the little symbol in the upper right. Use it.

    Idaclaire is that your bathroom?

Thanks for all the good tips! I will definitely put either a stool or maybe that ghost chair - I love how it’s almost invisible. Should I put any accessories on top of the toilet tank? Or is that just clutter?

Nothing on top of the toilet....yes, it's just clutter.

What about on the vanity? Any accessories I should add to make it lovely?
Oh, about the stool - would you guys recommend a round one or square/rectangle?

I don't think people offering tips and sharing nice jobs for ideas is tooting. Let's try and be positive and enjoy all everyone has to offer! Happy Tuesday! Find the positive not the negative!

Michelle41, that is not my bathroom - just a photo I found to illustrate the ghost chair.

Lisa Sara, pros are not allowed to self-promote in these forums as PRM has been doing. Finding the positive is one thing. Misuse of this website is something else entirely, and that is what others rightfully find objectionable.

Hueluhu - no items on the toilet tank. Keep the look clean and uncluttered.

IdaClaire - what would you recommend for “bathroom art” in the toilet room?

vanity: Maybe a jar with soaps...

I think pretty much anything goes as far as art. I have a landscape in my water closet. A pretty abstract or landscape might look nice in your room, or maybe a floral. All depends on what you'd like to look at every day. I think it's important to seek out art that speaks to you in some way.

Can you post a picture with the recessed cabinet above the toilet open? I just love that cabinet.

    You have a lovely bathroom!

A chair with a low-back would look charming. I think if you get a stool it should be square though not round. I think round is a little bit less sturdy looking. In a bathroom I want the furniture to be sturdy in case I need to reach out and grab it if I'm sliding or falling or something.

I agree that the artwork that you like can go in the bathroom no problem. That said I personally do like at least some art that alludes to the room it's in when it's the bathroom. I chose Joy Campbell's art work for our bathrooms. I have 2 of her pictures. The one here is 3 cats going fishing so to speak. Note the mischievous antics of the cat on the tank with its paw on the flusher...

I can't give you advice about accessorizing your vanity; it is lovely as is!

yeonassky - that "toilet cat" artwork is wonderful! I have two now that think the toilet is just another water bowl to drink from, so this scene looks very familiar to me.

Dmpsd, here’s the cabinet open - filled with super-ultra-mega-humongous Charmin, equivalent to hundreds of regular rolls. Will probably last through next year!

The bathroom is stunning! You have great vision. :) Definitely a stool next to the tub would be nice for towels. I would choose a round one.

Look what I found in my basement! An itty bitty chair from when the kids were little. Does that work? Should I paint it white or gray? Or should I get a clear kids ghost chair?

    Baby sized Ghost chair

I love your basement find-it's an odd element in quite a wonderful way, warm and a bit quirky

(and you can sit on it))

    Looks awesome!

I would leave the chair with it's wood color....looks awesome....

I too love the little wooden chair.

Now all you need is some artwork that you enjoy. Is there anything in the basement?

I think those cats were actually hoping that there was a goldfish or two in there. ;-). One of my cats used to like the toilet we used to try to discourage her.

    Your bathroom is very beautiful!

Use that little chair! It's adorable and surely holds sweet memories for you. How perfect!

Ok, I added some art to the toilet room...but it doesn’t seem to look quite right? Did I hang them too high?
