See nothing wrong with your house. Maybe just paint the shutters white to match garage door.

The shutters look undersized. They might look better a bit wider; each being half the width of the window. Keep them the same color as the windows.

The fretwork in the gable looks out of place. I’d remove it.

The garage doors should be a couple shades darker than the brick. They’re not a feature to highlight.

I’ll play around with color later. Fun project!

I tried out a few things here. Garage doors are Garrett Gray, body is Jubilee and trim is alabaster.

I think a wide, curved concrete walk from the steps to about 20-25 feet from the garage doors would look more inviting and draw the eye to the front entry better. As Irene suggested, colorful flowering plants in pots near the entrance. If you don't already have ceiling lights in the covered entry, I think that would be a great addition.
