My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
We got a few quotes to replace our roof with the typical 30 he architectmural shingle but one company said they can do the better atlas pinnacle pristine shingles for just $3k more. Lifetime warranty that is not prorated and transfers to new homeowner if we sell. Is it worth it? Anyone had experience with atlas pinnacle shingles? Thanks
Hi, We've used them and they're no better than Timberline which gives me a 50 year warranty. I doubt these shingles will last longer no matter what they promise so I wouldn't pay the premium if I were you.
Unless you're talking about the very low end shingles, IMO the installation probably matters more than the brand or line. I suggest finding a roofer you trust (ask friends, family, co-workers), and letting him use the shingles he's used to and prefers.
