Bird Toile Regal Blue Chinoiserie Rod Pocket 24" Tailored Tier Curtain Panels · More Info

The curtains in your pic would look nice against your dark walls. Note that the furniture and floor, as well as the artwork, in your inspiration picture are all white and very light beige to lighten up the room. Do you know if those curtains come in white?

I don't know if you like whimsy, but I saw the curtains above on the Houzz website. Your room doesn't look formal, at this stage, but I don't know if you want to go in this direction or not.

Also, have you considered no curtains because of your beautiful wood trim? I see you have blinds in place for privacy. Some beautiful artwork and a rug might be all you need to liven and lighten the room.

But I suggest you you choose your rug and artwork for the room, whether it is something you already have or plan to purchase, before you choose your curtains. It will be easier that way.

Have you also thought about changing the lighting it’s only hitting the ceiling not circling the room

Or maybe remove the light covers and use the flame lights
