Manmade countertops, such as Caesarstone, are more resistant to staining than granite countertops. But granite is more heat resistant. If you go with granite, make sure that you seal it. You can also test a granite sample before you buy. : ) Rhoda

If you have staining concerns, use Glacier White Corian. Stains come out so easily - it’s a solid surface, so the color goes all the way through. A difficult stain disappears in 30 seconds with a ScotchBrite pad.
