Completely unfinished basement, and looking to finish about 1/2 of it. Northeast area. Had 1 leak years ago from crack at window but was fixed/patched, no other standing water observed. But still have some moisture issues (storage of items with fabric in basement has some mold spots). Try to run dehumidifer as much as possible (manual emptying).

Looking into various finish options, and there seem to be more "systems" available. Not sure if they are worth the $$ vs. regular drywall.

We need to optimize humidity issues, but not sure if drywall vs. "system" is better option?
