Coastal Alabama climate, the front door entrance is wrought iron so I would like to keep it:) The shutters are iron as well. Afternoon sun in front of the house but huge trees everywhere else. New roof coming soon but not sure what material to use.....

Have you thought about a floral basket? I chose this one just because the door is a similar color but they come in many different styles.
