Those detergent bottles with the spout are horrible they leave soap on the spout it drips when you stop it I have never used it past the first time. If you post a picture of your space maybe someone can come up with a solution. I do not have the bases on my W/D so not a problem for me to reach and take down the detergent.Maybe just store the detergent on the folding table.Or maybe a fold away hanging rod on the wall and a cabinet above the folding table. I find with the new W?D there really is very little need for a drying rod anymore.

A removable countertop above toploaders or deep cabinets built in.

less deep cabinets would be hard to reach, but could be used for items rarely needed with step stool.

You can use those awkward and drippy large containers of detergent to refill smaller bottles that are manageable and easy to store. As far as I know, there are no brackets to hold the large containers. A foray into websites for commercial shelving and storage may turn up something.
