I took the advice to find a warm color as opposed to cool greys. It is also close to the lightest color in the granite

You can't choose tile in a vacuum. You have to show the cabinets and floor. You also don't want people choosing from on line photos!

I am also trying to choose a backsplash and won't bother posting photos because they come out looking nothing like the colors in the space.

Do you have some quake putty? Great stuff for temporarily sticking up tile on walls. You can order on Amazon.

Take that tile and stick up under the cabinets. Does it look good right next to the cabinets?

To me it doesn't look like your counter tops match with your cabinets. And there is no back splash that is going to fix that.

The backsplash tiles need to work back to the counter top not the wood cabinets. You have the "classic" warm cabinets and cool tone granite and now need to find the happy balance in the center. Of those posted option 1 is the best.

You are the best person to judge color, Mandy. We all see something different on our monitors.

According to a couple responders I did a bad job picking out the granite and it’s too late to fix that, so just looking for advice. I personally love my granite!!!

You have two threads going on this same question. You need to combine them.

As I said in your other thread, first get some under-cabinet lighting installed. THEN decide on your backsplash. It will change all the colors. And yes, it was not a great countertop choice for your cabinets, but the backsplash can make it work if you choose the right one. But the under cabinet lighting (which ALL kitchens need!) must come first.

I thought number two works the best with the counter top.

Does anyone have any advice on wall paint color? We are pretty set on going with #2 tile above. Our installer is also our painter, so we were going to have it all done at once. Also replacing that ugly wood stove hood with a S/S one.

I voted #2 on the bs. Wall color depends on if you want neutral or a little bit of color.

Backsplash is hanging on knobs. Would either of these paint colors work? Perfect Greige (left) or Rushing River (right). Both SW. Third option would be to match the ivory/cream of the backsplash as closely as I can.

I think both would work but vote for Greige (left) since i think the other one may be a little too dark. Depends on how light your kitchen is. The Greige looks similar to some of the color in your granite - at least based on the colors my monitor are showing,
