I've never grown Suyo long. Did you have the plant trellised? Johnny's website suggests doing that if you want the fruit to be straight. The picture on their website shows them to be somewhat curled.

I've grown Sweet Success the last couple years on a trellis and most of them had some curl to them as well. That may be because they are a parthenocarpic variety meant to be grown in a greenhouse without pollinators and I grew them outside where they surely were pollinated by my near by pickling cukes. I may go back to Straight 8 or Marketmore next year.
