    Is honed harder to care for than polished?

    Hi Jeanne. Great question. The care of the stone really depends on which material is honed. The main thing is to make sure the counters stay sealed (if using natural stone) and to only use cleaning products that are recommended for natural stone (it will say on the bottle if it is). Some honed countertops, such as absolute black, might show hand prints when honed. Let us know if you have any more questions.
