Pro supply outlet

It about killed me, but since I no longer trust Dafna, I had to order my STPP from Pro supply outlet for $30 for 10 lb. It was the cheapest I could find. What really gets me is that there are suppliers who sell STPP in Houston, but they are outrageously expensive. They sell to the oil refineries, so they charge so much money for their stuff.

The Chemistry Store wanted as much for shipping as they did the product...so no thanks on that one.

I know, I tested the STPP from Dafna with a phosphate test kit and it did not read positive even a little. I contacted them and they told me I was using the wrong kind of kit, yet all of my laundry detergent that I knew had phosphates in it, tested positive in a big way. The Mexican Ariel, Ace, ...all tested positive..very dark blue. So you would think that a product that was supposed to be pure STPP would have no problem showing a positive reaction, but nothing. I haven't trusted them since. I have no idea what I was mixing with my detergent.

I’ve still got some of the questionable stpp from Dafna. Haven’t used it In a long time, yet haven’t thrown it away. I added some to a load today and felt the water after adding it and it made the water a lot slicker. It is heavy and dense... wonder what in the world it actually is?...

Mama... are you feeling any better?

    MiMi Thanks for asking.

On a scale of 1/10 I'm 1% better. I have never been so sick. Todays day 9 I think. The CDC was shocked to find me with a positive flu test... says I'm the first in western pa..I think Ya right. On my third antibotic, steroids, and inhaler. I haven't slept much because of the constant cough. I'm down to 136 pounds..ya I need to lose but not this way. But I do feel I'm about to begin recovery. Doctors say its probably going to be upwars of two months before I'm back to 100%. Now you all know I won't allow that. LOL. I can't stress the importance of getting the flu shot. Last year was my first and as I remember I went for it kicking and screaming...I didn't want it and in fact was scared of reactions to it...no reaction can be as bad as the actual flu....All of you please GET your flu shot.

    Thanks MiMi

Hope you feel better mamaP. My daughter got the flew a few weeks ago. She was the first one to get it at her university according to the school doctor, and her pediatrician said she was the first one seen by her as well. She was just 2 days shy of having the flu shot for 2 weeks.

Gosh Mama.... I’m sorry to hear you’re this sick. Take it easy as possible. I do believe it will be a couple of months before you are back to 100%, it’s so draining. It took me a good 6 months since I had a relapse then shingles. I really feel for you. Keep us updated as you feel like it...

I didn't take a flu shot for YEARS but started on it maybe 5 years ago. Not sure. Had flu in 1986 (bad) then not again until May of this year (mild case, probably thanks to the shot).

Take your time with the recovery ... no stressing!
