Visually they will be pretty much the same. Functionally, go big. I'm short and spout reach is always the most important feature to me. You want this to be a centerpiece, so don't wimp out on a few inches.

Buy both and return the one you feel doesn't fit for you in your space.

If you plan on having a pendant above the sink, I would choose the shorter faucet.

I went a bit too tall with my main kitchen faucet ... they don't look that tall in the store displays! I now need to buy another pendant light with a different size/shape to fit the space better.

Check the return policy first. So many of these items are now special order , you don't want to be stuck with a 25% restocking fee.

If you are too high above the sink the falling water will SPLASH out of your not very deep sink and make a mess. But the faucet that puts the water at the height for your purpose...or maybe get a deeper sink?

Is your sink in front of the window? If there is a cabinet across you need to be careful of the height. Also - how deep is that sink front to back ( just the bowl ) ? 11" spout reach will come out pretty far into the sink.... do a comparison to what you have now so you have a comparison....

Thank you all for comments. These are custom order finishes so I need to make a decision now. The splashing height is the exact same for both—7.75” above counter. The sink depth is already decided as part of the specs for the cabinets. So it sounds like there is a slight preference for the larger from a visual and convenience perspective?

I prefer the smaller one for your design if you can only order one.

Personally, I don't really like the look of super tall faucets. I would go for the shorter, but that is just my opinion.

They're both super tall.

Stand at your current counter and draw the proposed sink to scale, draw in your faucet hole, and see where the spout will end up. If both spout are good and don't make you stretch, then either will work.

Does the big one have a longer hose and if so, will it reach the cooktop? (Small kitchen potfiller!)

Go for the one with shorter reach. That’s an apron sink which will put you several inches closer to the faucet. Also, the narrower reach will put the flow closer to the drain. I think it’ll be more proportionate to the sink. Either one will produce some splash you’ll but with the narrower reach it will likely go backwards rather than on you. High arc faucets are pretty, but when I replace mine it’ll be with a lower faucet.

Thank you @gm_tx. I went with standard height, the 5800 series. Counters are Calacatta Vagli that I got a great deal on (prob bc they were 2cm and I bought two thin half slabs which worked since I didn’t have an island.) So happy with how they turned out as I kept doubting my decision (had been debating btwn those and 3cm Imperial Danby.). I’m almost done with the kitchen and will post after pics with the hardware and range installed.

Gorgeous faucet! The thin slab works fine with your white cabinets, the thickness isn't highlighted by contrast. What kind of accessories will you be using? Really good job!

I appreciate the compliments @Laura. This was my first reno and I picked everything myself and was really worried about it all coming together! I’m using tarnished brass hardware from Classic brass that is similar to the faucet. The range and hood are navy and brushed brass. I will incorporate navy into the window cornices and banquette seating. Floors are a marbled cork plank that has similar pattern as the stone.

I'd love to see photos once the space is complete! Sounds beautiful!
