The countertops are granite Negresco honed finish. they are stunning and reminiscent of soap stone. Glad you like them they are just beautiful!

Thank you. I'm looking to do something like thes in my kitchen. Is there a reason to choose a granite 'soapstone' over a quartz 'soapstone'? I love the honed finish, too.

You are welcome. Granite will need to be sealed since it is porous, where quartz does not. That is the big difference. Many of the quartz companies have been introducing a matte or honed finish. Corian Quartz now has one called Nero Soapstone, check it out.
