I purchased the 30” double ovens around Xmas last year. I love mine. I put my old oven thermometer in them when I got rid of the crappy Frigidaire double oven (They wouldn’t hold temp). So far, the ovens are dead on temp-wise and heat evenly. I did a huge batch of cookies and all turned out great, no overdone edges (I’m super picky). One thing that’s just a quirk is that the clock must be set before the ovens will turn on. So, in the event of a power outage, you just have to reset the clock when the power comes on. We couldn’t figure out how to get the ovens to turn on when we got them, but my husband figured that out. I had our appliance repair guy out for an unrelated warranty issue and he said he had just had training at Bertazzoni and the ovens were simple, not much electronics to fail and built well. He said he hasn’t had to repair any yet. Houzz had the full extension telescoping racks for $100 each. That’s a steal compared to Thermadore’s $300. I also dried fruit this summer in them and the ovens held at very low temps for many hours. Dried fruit didn’t last long- all gobbled up. As you can see, my kitchen is still being remodeled.

We have had the double wall ovens for 7 yrs. 4 yrs ago the bottom one quit working. It turns off and on fine, but it either doesn't reach temp or it gets too hot. It smells like something is burning while it's on. We've called Bertazzoni, but they just tell us to call appliance places in the area. None will touch it. I did have one guy come out, look, say he was sorry, he would be too confused. We even tried commercial place and they won't. So we sit with 1 oven working when we often need 2. It's a big waste of money. I will never buy Bertazzoni again. (Although the dual fuel cooktop has been great)

I read your comments on the Bertazzoni ovens, they go from good to not wanting to buy anymore, I really like the look and am tempted to buy them despite the reviews. The are many reviews on the range but very few on the ovens. Are you still against the Bertazzoni brand? Thank you Maria
