HMF stands for helpmefind which is a datbase for roses, peonies and clematis. It's an amazing resource for research and personal rose journaling! You can start a journal, make a cuttings list for haves/wants and a list of all the plants you grow that link to info on each one that includes photos, comments, where to buy etc. Here is the link for the rose section http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/plants.php

Oh. Okay. I didn't realize you were new here. This site's been going through some changes so I didn't know if you were leaving it or just joining! There's some really great Old Post here I go through them all the time on propagating. They used to have a section here to post ones cuttings but I can't find it anymore which is why I suggested listing your cuttings and Roses on HMF. That's where I have mine.

You are correct to remind folks that Facebook is a not very secure for profit company Paul, and let me add another caution...please be aware of all the laws of your state regarding health certification when mailing plant material, and become familiar with copyright law when propagating plants

I am new here and find this site very challenging to use. Roses are my love. I get most of my cuttings from graveyards around here. I always ask if it is ok and the folks there are happy to share. I would love to trade cuttings here if I knew how. I am just starting on peonies. I have tons of seeds to trade. I just have trouble finding my way around on this site for some reason.

Hi tom... and welcome! Houzz is undergoing some changes to say the least and it's become harder to use, but still worthwhile. What might help you get a better response is to add your zone and location to your name. Also, you can add forums to YOUR TOPICS to make them easier to find in the future. Houzz used to have a place to list our cuttings, but they seem to have eliminated that. I keep mine listed on helpmefind AKA HMF. That would be a great site to join.

Hello from Argentina, new to roses, read a lot but little experience! want to start with grafting will tell you later what triggered my curiosity about grafts, my pics first, this one highly fragant, bought it 5 years ago, with 1m trunk and 2 roses, did almost nothing I did cut the top of it and rooted it, happy this one came after a year, now this happened, the base of the toll trunk I pruned it to the base and now these roses different lighter red and no frangance are blooming, curious about it has something to do with above or under the graft???????? anyway beautiful with 12 buds! pic at the bottom the original rose, the top what is growing after cutting the top, now confused!!! have a great gardening day!

Now I want to propagate the dark red fragant one! TIA for any advice or comments <3
