My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

In search of quartz that looks like this...

Hi wonderful hive mind,


I found a quartz that I love (!) but it's a brand that I've never heard of before (Kovastone - Olympus Grey), and I can't get a lot of good information about them. I'd rather go with a more established/known brand ... I'm wondering if anyone has seen another design that looks similar?


What I specifically love:

  • the white background
  • the grey, slightly taupe-y veins that are clearly there but not super intense
  • the relative evenness of the pattern
  • the organic, tree branch quality of the veins


I think the closest I've seen is MSI Q Quartz Calacatta Vicenza, but it appears that isn't made using the Breton process.


Pictured is the Kovastone Olympus Grey. Note the top half of each slab is truer to the real life experience (the shading at the bottom is from another slab to the left of the picture).

    This is very familiar -- I think there's one from a well-known company that looks quite a bit like it.
