I think your cry for help is a little on the vague side to be able to give you to-the-point advice and tips. Perhaps you can post a floor plan of your basement and describe what you want to have in there.

Also, you can browse through the photo-section on Houzz (browse rooms) and select bathroom and laundry (under 'more rooms') to see lots of inspirational photos. I suggest you start two ideabooks here on Houzz, one for your bathroom and one for your laundry room and collect all the pics that you like in there.

Go crazy with color. Paint a bright bold color, like lime green, or orange. It's a basement area, go wild. Have fun. Choose things you would never use upstairs.

Start by putting in cabinets to store things out of site.
