We are sorry to hear about your situation and we'll try to advise from our perspective. Did you contact your contractor and point out the things that should being taking care of? Do you have a signed contract with him? Did he take responsibility for the work? What else beside of the tiles did he do?

Joseph & berry, thank you for your comment, I cannot figure out how to delete or edit houzz posts, so I started a new discussion, and included pictures. when the contractor showed me a picture of the finished bathroom while I was out of town I let him know I did not like the access panel tile work. He told me we could figure out a solution, when I started seeking second opinions I was informed how "unacceptable" the work was. when i told him I had additional concerns and would get back to him as to what I wanted to do, he told me he would bill me for work done with a reduction of $160 for the access panel I didn't like.
