Budget dictates some of your choices. Laminate is never a good idea in a bath. Vinyl and linoleum are acceptable. But tile is the preferred overall. Ceramic and porcelain are generally the more cost effective. Stone is going to give you the high end look and feel. There are a lot of porcelain and ceramic that have the stone look. So, consider your house, the area you live in and your budget and then decide. You can use the porcelain adn then choose some fun stone accent tile to up the wow factor.
