Help with Guest Room with beautiful iron bed

I would love some advice on decorating this a northeastern facing guest bedroom with one set of windows. My husband has this beautiful iron bed from Europe, I brought my Hitchcock chest and dresser from my childhood room, and we have a way-too-dark wood secretary in the corner that I’d eventually like to paint. (We can’t afford to replace the furniture) There is also a matching iron bench under the window with a seat I want to reupholster. I’m not wedded to the shades or curtains and would love to bring more fabrics & patterns into the room. My husband has this very nice blue & white quilt so I’d like to do something that works with it and the other furniture in the room.

The rest of the house has a lot of blues, teals, light yellows and greys. The adjoining hallway and main living area will be Edgecomb Gray.

I need to make a decision on painting the walls in here soon, and was even considering doing wallpaper entirely or perhaps just on the wall behind the bed. I would love to do Toile but am thinking it will not work with the quilt - styles too different right? Gingham? I feel like there’s a lot of potential in the room - especially given the beautiful bed - but I just don’t know what to do with it.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
