Mosaic marble gives a bit of distinction.

Marble mosaic won (11 to 7)! Here is a picture of it going in. I was on the fence with this, but now that it is in - I really like it!

Great choice because it gives you detail on all white subway tile backsplash.

I also like to add something contrasting to add interest. However, I think it looks best if the same contrasting tile is some where else in the room, like the vanity back splash or detail strip, so it doesn't look too out of place.

Kristine - I really like your niche! Especially the molding around the perimeter. Was that a marble hex as well?

The mosaic marble. It adds a bit of style to it and it shows u are not just the regular person that sticks with one style. I for sure would say the marble

Thanks! My husband created that using tile molding and also cutting the subway tile very thin for added interest. Our tile looked too rough just coming to edge so he came up w trimming it out like this. We actually have marble hex on floor too but put a 3rd complementary tile in the niche and ceiling. It's a shell tile from artistic tile. It's very thin so it was great for the shower stall ceiling. All tile used was marble (even the subway is white thassos which is just the white part of marble w little to no gray)
