Shades for Windows

I am struggling with a set of windows in my family room. The one side of the window molding pretty much butts up to the corner of the wall and there is also a bay window/box type of setup. Thought about roman shades but I'm struggling with how it would look (and the price!). Looking for suggestions!

ETA: I don't need privacy, this backs to our yard.

Do you need them for privacy or light control?

I would think about doing a rod across the whole wall, The panels would cover the wall on the one side (where you have the collage) and cover up part of the window in the corner.

That is a good suggestion! I am not looking for privacy.

I just dummied some images of options (ignore patterns). I'm getting thrown off by the long curtain being behind the rug.
