Mine is also 32 years old - I have a couple questions on Houzz right now - maybe 32 is a bad year for houses? We had to tear out the entire master bathroom - was all built in and nice but old. Now repainting on the woodwork that I think has never been repainted after the house was built. I imagine people are going to ask you for pictures and to narrow down your problems. We didn't tear out the kitchen - cupboards are real wood and are getting repainted but the counter tops were all replaced and we got a new sink. It looks new with the granite. I'm getting concerned that we are going to have to start replacing these windows that are so old and inefficient. Good luck to you!!

Got any pics? We had a master bath/closet nightmare as well. Our master had an 8' vanity, in it's own room, then a little walk-in closet, and a shower/toilet room, all from one master bedroom entrance. It was an incredible waste of space. Now we have, two doors; one into the closet, one into the master bath. :)
