Puppy Quilt finally finished

Here's the puppy quilt I was working on earlier this summer. Thanks to all who gave me some suggestions on the design. I did use some of your ideas - one of which was the the borders around each puppy.

The red border was supposed to be wider, but after putting the strips on, they were too wide, so I went to trim them. The rotary cutter slipped, grrr, and I had to trim them more than I'd intended.

It’s so adorable! I love your paw prints fabric. I’m so glad you were able to end up with a quilt you are happy with after all your work on the puppy face blocks. I like your idea of bringing the border fabric into the body of the quilt. I’ve done that on scrappy quilts too, and I think it really ties the quilt together. The quilt is just as cute as could be.
