Advice for wiring for speakers please!

We are remodeling and want to wire for speakers in the ceiling- though I keep hearing that's not the way to go because its hard to upgrade etc...But I really want the speakers to be as unobtrusive and low profile as possible. Any suggestions out there?

Hi easy, Congrats on your remodel. The ceiling is the not only place where you can embed the wiring. You can also consider the floor. They also have "recessed" speakers, like recessed LED's, that are inside the wall so the front of the speaker is flush with the wall.
