Dimensions for the breakfast nook were kept intentionally small, given the diminutive backyard yard. Space is approximately 4.5' x 11'. Another foot of depth could make a big difference if you do not have space limitations. We added the cut out in the right wall to further open up the space while bringing in more sunlight and views from the side window. The nook comfortably seats 3-4 people. I chose a round table for easy access to the window seat. Day-to-day, there is a larger round pedestal table in place of the antique shown here for photography, which provides more ample surface area and leg room.
