Moving the trees is not really an option ... it's expensive with 30-foot trees, and they probably not survive. As they mature, they will fill out into lovely classic "Christmas tree" shapes. Eventually they develop a high-branched, billowy upper growth. The problem is that they are too big for their "island" in the grass, and it's looking like they will fall out of it. . ... enlarge the island and make the trees blend with the forest by blending the tree's under plantings into the woods behind them, getting rid of the grass. You could have a small private sitting area between the cedars and the woods. Ferns? Azaleas? Rhododendrons?

Never underestimate the value of mature landscaping ...try adding a few more smaller shrubs around these larger trees so they don't look like sore thumbs..may be a curvy shaped mulched area with the added smaller shrubs will turn an eyesore into an asset

Blueberry are pretty easy to care for. Cut two or three canes a year in early spring, keep the soil mulched and acid. Spray with a fungicide. Check with your local garden center but something like sulfur. Since they have been overgrown for a while cut back more severely perhaps by a third but not totally sheared off. Your harvest will be less for a year or two but what berries you do get will be bigger. How lovely to have a blueberry party, what fun!
