In the fall of 2017 I bought a Thai Caladium named Daranoppharat on Ebay. I planted it in a pot on Oct 10, 2017. Between Dec 20-23, 2017 it sprouted. In April 2018 I planted it outdoors. On Oct 18, 2018 we had a light frost so I dug it out the next day. The frost doesn't appear to have affected it. It's now indoors again in a pot. At this point this plant has been growing for 10 months exactly. I'm expecting it to still be growing for the next month or 2. I hope I'm right. Here's the growth journey it's been on:

10/10/2017 - potted the bulb (corm):

6/9/2018 - Outdoors after a rain. It takes the water a long time to evaporate from it. While it was outdoors about 4-5 spikes never formed into leaves. They just disappeared. I then put slug bait around it before fall and the most recent spike grew into a leaf. So this plant has survived through a lot of conditions, but only slugs have adversely affected it:

8/4/2018 - Outdoors near a Miss Muffet Caladium (near top right), Rubicundum Caladium (right, center), and Fireworks Caladium (bottom left):

10/20/2018 - Potted and brought indoors 2 days after it survived a light frost. Only the leaf that grew after I put out the slug bait remains:
