61 degrees! - that's not fall - that's the depth of winter! STill in the high 70's, low 80's but lower humidity - feels pretty good. down here in S FL

Low 80's where are you in s.florida? cause its flirting with the 90's here. I just came in to cool down and dehydrate, its hot out there.

TBH I haven't paid attention to the actual temperature. I have become accustomed to the heat so I don't mind so much, but I will definitely be happy to see the end of summer.

I was born and raised in the South and I will never become accustomed to the heat. I never became accustomed to the cold in SC, which is why I moved down here. Now I'm thinking somewhere about zone 8a or 8b would be nice, maybe S. Georgia.

I was born in Florida and this heat is awful every year. But once those 6 days of winter we have come i am freezing. I likely have more coats than we have cold days. I picked up a very smart looking wool blend coat at the thrift last week and the guy asked if i was sending it up north...i said heck no i get cold. But i also bought some inflatable rafts and a beach cover up last week too so i am prepped for the weather to go either way. I would like to get a beach trip in before the red tide comes back or the beach gets too cold.

It was great today I got alot done out side for the first time in months and never broke a sweat. I wish it was all ways like this

Pea, with me it's sweaters. I have way too many sweaters. None of my heavy coats fit me anymore, so I just layer up with shirts, sweaters and hoodies. Thinking of heading over to Goodwill tomorrow to look for a nice, warm jacket. All my winter clothes are very old.

corkball, I always tell people that in the summer, if I need a sauna, I just walk outside. I hate sweating, and question the theory that it's good for you. I'm so heat sensitive that I sweat walking to the mailbox. This weather is HEAVEN to me!

Glenn, I think we al wish it was always like this, but if it was, how would we know to appreciate it?

52 last night. Freeking COLD! It only went up in the 70s yesterday & today though and thst frels nice!

But if I had to choose between heat with himidity or cool I'll take the former any time. Below 60 is way too cold for me.

It was 71 this a.m. at my spot on the Treasure Coast, and I must say it finally felt like the Florida summer is over. Only up to 81 this afternoon, whereas last week it was 90-ish.

It still warm here but the nights are at least nice. I tried opening the wi does and my allergies went nuts so none of that for now.

Mid 80's today here in St. Pete. To me 70°- 80° is ideal. I know a lot of people dislike high humidity but I personally hate it when humidity drops below 60%. I breath better when the air is moist, and my eyes, throat, and skin feels soothed by it. I feel like the air has less dust, pollen, etc in it too. I could never live in Arizona.

I remember that when I first moved to Gainesville, and had to walk to the store in the winter, I had to wait until it got up to at least 63. In the fall, that was early, but in the winter, I had to wait sometimes until noon!
