Sub-Zero vs Bosch Refrigerator Freezer Columms

Hello All, thanks for the wonderful helpful forum. I'm struggling between choosing a 30" fridge and 18" freezer column by Bosch or Sub-Zero which I will be wood panelling. I've heard the appliance dealers all say how Sub-Zero is the best but is it worth the almost $5,000 extra that it costs? Anyone have reliability issues with the Bosch?

Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau/BSH, has been building their built in refrigerators over 10 years now and they've proven to be very reliable machines. Probably one of the best to seamlessy intigrate with your cabinets.

We have Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer. Only buy it if you like the look it does NOT work any better than any other refrigerator. The freezer still allows items to become icy from freeze/thaw cycles. The ice cubes melt together within a couple weeks after completely cleaning out and starting new. The magical refrigerator that is supposed to keep perfect temperature so food stays fresh longer - no, it’s just a regular refrigerator. We do have Bosch dish washer which is very quiet, we don’t even know it’s on.
