Fall has finally arrived. I stepped out and breathed in a lungful of air and stated to the world in general...."how nice"

It is truly amazing weather today. Don't know what the temp was this morning but it was chilly. Spending time with family today so I had to get out early to make a 3 hour drive and get there early. It was a nice drive with perfect weather. I hope it stays around

Was able to sleep last night w/o running the a/c, just a fan - ahhh Fall!

Three in a row !!! Nice,.....this morning ( Tues, 10/30/18 ) a heavy ( and I mean heavy ) fog rolled in around 8 AM,...a rare occurrence hereabouts,.. had to slow down on the roads, but loved it just the same, - the hour or so it lasted !

I'm deliriously happy with the cool weather and have been making so many plans for the courtyard and gardens. But, Joe, this isn't a mini-drought, it's just the dry season, and I actually love it, because it lets me control how much water my plants get. I lose containers plants every summer from the rains, so I'm more than happy to pay the water bill to be able to keep things from drowning.

Deb : You are of course, correct about it being just the end of the rainy season. I was just living in the moment, so used to rain every other day, forgot the big picture of what was happening. This getting old stuff is not for sissies ! :o)

Pea : I feel for you re the unthinking neighbors. One good thing about living where I do, in a 55 + mobile home park, - that situation would never occur here.

As I mentioned, have enjoyed these last 3 days, but the weather guys/gals are telling me it'll end tomorrow, for awhile at least,..till the fall really sets in permanently. Always the optimist,...it won't be long in coming ! My favorite time of year also,..late Oct to late March,..Nirvana the Buddists call it ! LOL

Joe, that's my favorite time of year too, and it doesn't last nearly long enough. To think that we only get 4 months of lovely weather every year is very sad to me.
