Please help w/kitchen layout suggestions

Trying to supplement our architects work. Residential is not his first line of work. He's working on an addition and remodel of our 50's 1.5 story cape cod brick box. Any suggestions appreciated.
We both like to cook and personal space is important. Though my strongest skill is dishes.
We're also remodeling the only bathroom and adding a second on the second floor. Both the original kitchen and bathroom are comically small. I could touch all surfaces from one spot; can you imagine the efficiency! Lol.
In addition to free association with the plans I would like a wall oven; wife is a baker. Not sure where it would work. Interior corners are all I can come up with.
Wife doesn't want an island which would free up wall space. Though it's been suggested a couple times.

You can do a second undercounted oven on the fridge side.

I agree on the undercounter oven. Otherwise it seems you'll need to move the range/cooktop to make room on that wall for a wall oven. Another option would be a range with two ovens. My preference would be a small prep sink on that window wall (note that I've only lived with separate prep and cleanup sinks for the past year, but I'm a convert to that MO).

@salex Yes! Prep sink planned on window wall between range top and fridge; not sure if it should go closer to the over or fridge or just split the difference and center on the window. I don't think we're in the market for a second oven though. It's just the two of us and vegetarian cooking has never required much oven use; we really only bake pies around here! Spouse may be coming around to turning peninsula into an island to enable the wall oven on the living/dinning room leg. It would also allow us to inch the island toward the fridge a smidge and leave more dinning/living room space and passage for island seaters.

Prep sink could go closer to the range end of the run. Consider exploring an induction range like a Bosch Benchmark or 800 Series. I would consider deepening one or more of the counter runs to 28-30". Standard cabs can be blocked out and a 2x4 wall cleat used for countertop support. The usable space will be island-like in function.

@debbi Thank you! I've met with a couple kitchen designers to asses a fit for us, but I've not connected with one and I'm reluctant at such an early stage to sign on with a 2k retainer and we've not even shopped cabinets yet which I'm thinking is a mistake. Architect wants plumbing set in stone at this point and wife is itchy to keep things moving. I just want it right! I absolutely want to have a KD on board to finalize the kitchen layout and help with the cabinets though. Would love an hourly KD at the moment, but haven't found one yet.

Most of the new kitchen is in addition so windows can change. My preference would be sink in front of the big window as you suggest to check out the garden and keep an eye on our four chickens, but seemed a little claustrophobic with ref landing + ref + wall oven + DW + dish storage + sink in that run. There is an OK view to the street as well, but I'm definitely just accepting that is the way it is.

But all the ideas you have and are asking about is what a designer does for you. Setting plumbing in stone without a proper kitchen layout is a recipe for disaster! Please put all your focus on a designer first and foremost...

You do not need to shop cabinets yet - you need to create a layout first. Get your mechanicals and window sizes and placements figured out. Do you have a builder? Quite often they have designers that they work with...

This is a mistake I have seen way to many people make over the years - additions put on to houses where decisions on window placements and sizes are done with out kitchen layouts done first - more problems than you will know...

    Good luck!
