It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. I love growing my citrus, but after 2 lovely and healthy years, it has been a terrible year for them. I have only a few left and they are barely hanging on. I know that they will not make it through the winter here. It breaks my heart everyday to look at the them. I am hoping someone here will take my citrus and attempt to nurse them back to health. I'd rather they survive with someone else, then die with me. I've accepted that until I have a greenhouse, I cannot grow my beloved citrus.

They were all a little sorry looking after last years never ending winter. In spring I re-potted them into 511 and everything went into shock and then to make matters worse, experienced severe root rot. I hoped they would recover all summer, but things continued to get worse. I lost several. This is what is left.

Shiranui: This is the healthiest tree I have. It was thriving and full when I brought it in for winter, but everyday it loses more leaves and has more branch dieback. It has the greatest chance for recovery, but it it's going downhill fast. Just to take the picture in dropped 20 more leaves. I purchased it this spring from Harris. It is on RICH rootstock. In a 3 gallon pot.

Bearss Lemon: Also purchased from Harris in the spring. It has a few leaves, but had a growth flush a few weeks ago before all the new growth fell off. In a 1 gallon pot.

ST Lemon: Has no leaves and lots of branch dieback. It's still green, but I don't know if it will make it. In a 2 gallon pot.

NZL: Same as the ST Lemon. In a 1 gallon pot.

Persian Lime: This one was robust and vigorous, but suffered severe brach dieback over the summer. It now only has two branches left, but otherwise looks healthy. It recently tried to flower, but I pulled them off. In a 1 gallon pot.

I'm fairly confident that there are no bug issues. I really don't want to ship them. I am hoping that someone near by would like to rescue them. I'm in Orange County, New York.
