I haven't made it but it might turn out a little more liquidy if using just juice as opposed to whole berries. Safety wise I don't see how it could be an issue.

Agree that I don't see any real safety issue although I might be a bit concerned about all the extra water it would add by using juice. But like Rodney said the main impact would be on the much thinner consistency by using only juice and no solids.

If it were me I'd rather take the time to de-seed the berries by running them through the berry screen of my food mill.
