Thanks for asking! No trick here, most rooms that are capable of having a lamp placed in the center usually have a hidden outlet placed in the flooring below. Unfortunately, there's no true hiding of cords, but some lamps are fabulous where the cord is manufactured with a more subtle color to blend in with its surroundings.
