John, on the general topic of Meyers, what is the typical size range for individual fruit. I planted a Meyers Lemon tree in ground here in 2016, had 1 lemon off of it last year, and have about a dozen that are close to being ripe now, along with 2 or 3 much smaller green ones. I ask because 3 or 4 of the ones that are nearly ripe are much larger than Meyers I have see on other peoples trees, almost the size of a medium sized orange.

Live storage. I have about 50 peppers on plants that I store until needed. They will last into the next year. That is also one of the reasons I chose the Meiwa kumquat for my primary citrus tree

The "standard" for a mature bearing tree is 3 per pound. If you have only a few and are treating the tree well, they will be larger. We have harvested some Meyers that were more than a pound. On some of my trial horse trees (intentionally mistreated) we sometimes get a lot of lemons that are the size of hens' eggs. They all taste the same; so in this case, maybe size doesn't matter. As for storage on the tree, most citrus will fall when ripe; but the Meyer does not.

John I covered my Meyers lemon tree last night due to the early season freeze (28F / -2C) last night where it was below freezing for about 5 hours in order to protect the immature fruit on the tree. One of the larger ripe fruit fell off during the night, So this morning I weighed it at 6.6 ounces / 188 grams, I have not tasted it yet, was busy with other stuff today. I think most if not all of my Satsumas fruit on the trees with their higher sugar content survived this freeze, though I should know in a few days if they start dropping.

i have lemons and it bloomed again and i have baby lemons which i thinned, and i see the faint rumblings of more blooms.....how do you get the meyer to get into growth spurt mode for some leaf replacement
