which one to liven up a dull wall?

Just moved into this house and slowly making it ours. The nook we built is very functional but also very boring and we’d like to liven it up with some fun wallpaper (peel and stick please, we’ve had enough fun removing wallpaper to last a lifetime). It is a farmhouse but I don’t necessarily want it to feel too much so. Here is the wall (behind the nook) and the kitchen surrounding it, and some other photos of the living area. Thanks all!

    Have you thought about roman shades on the windows in the nook instead of the wallpaper?
