Really depends on your exposure. I am currently in the process of choosing paint colors (painters starting next week) and I have samples of both those colors. Balboa mist is light given its LRV but in a North Facing Room it looked too icy to me- in other rooms - south facing with lots of light - I love it! Edgecomb grey in the south facing rooms was too beige for me but very rich and "grey" in North Facing Rooms, similar effect with Revere Pewter. What colour is your bedding? Perhaps that can inform your wall colour. If your master bathroom is a greige, it will flow with practically any colour. BM has a huge selection of beautiful off-whites. You aren't limited to tan or grey. :)
