My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Today I Am Thankful For...

I'm thankful today for

  • Having space to garden, no matter how small
  • My apartment manager, who lets me do pretty much whatever I want around my apartment
  • The lovely people who have given me plants, seeds, and cuttings to fill my garden
  • Lowe's clearance racks - where just yesterday I got a full, healthy 12-pack of johnny-jump-ups for $1 (normally $9.98)and two more angel plants for $1 each (normally $6.98 ea.) I don't know what I'd do without them!
  • Dollar General's end-of-season 90% closeout sales (Mine doesn't have a lot left this year, because they kept it all on 50% sale much longer, but I've gotten tons of seeds and accessories there in the past).
  • Plants that multiply like weeds so I can share them with other gardeners or sell them for extra money to buy MORE gardening stuff
  • Everyone here at GW who has helped me learn to garden up here in 9a, which is a totally different world from my old place in what is now 10a and bears absolutely no resemblance to my SC garden in 7a
