Can you post a pic? We are considering doing this same thing, but my husband is on the fence. It seems like it will take awhile to paint. What color are you using? What paint?

black paint. I bought a wagner ready paint sprayer. started with 1 gallon of behr paint and primer in 1. still have more to do.

Hi! I realize this is 3 year old thread, but can you post picture of your finished basement (walls, etc). We have a large basement, approx. 2000 sf and seriously considering painting the 'unfinished' ceiling like you did. We might go white on main area joists, flat black on ductwork, and case the plumbing in wood. How do you like the space? Anything you recommend or do differently? We are probably going to purchase a medium to large size industrial sprayer. Thanks!
